KTET 2024: The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has officially opened the application process for the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) November 2024 session. Starting today, November 11, eligible candidates can submit their applications online via the official

 website, ktet.kerala.gov.in.

 

 

The last date to apply is November 20, so interested candidates are encouraged to complete the process promptly.

KTET 2024 Exam Dates and Schedule

 

The KTET 2024 exam will be held on January 18 and 19, with two shifts on each day:

 

·       First Shift: 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM

·       Second Shift: 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM

 

Exam Structure KTET 2024 will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions, each carrying one mark, and is divided across four categories based on the candidate’s eligibility and intended teaching level.

KTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

 

The KTET exam has four categories, each with specific eligibility requirements:

 

·       Category I (Lower Primary Classes): Higher Secondary (or equivalent) with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

 

·       Category II (Upper Primary Classes): B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. with Diploma/B.Ed. or equivalent.

 

 

·       Category III (High School Classes): B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. with B.Ed. or MSc.Ed. in a relevant subject.

 

·       Category IV: For language and specialist teachers as per the Kerala Education Act.
