THE PREM MANDIR
Prem Mandir is a Hindu temple in Vrindavan, India, that was built to honor the love between Lord Krishna and Radha. The temple was built by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, a spiritual leader and the founder of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat. Construction began in 2001 and was completed in 2012.
● History
The foundation stone for Prem Mandir was laid on January 14, 2001.
The temple was built by over 1,000 artisans.
The temple was inaugurated from February 15–17, 2012, and opened to the public on February 17, 2012.
● Features
The temple is made of Italian marble.
The temple’s walls are 3.25 ft thick and depict scenes from the lives of Radha and Krishna.
The temple has a basement dedicated to Radha and Krishna, and an upper level dedicated to Sita Ram.
The temple has a circumambulation route around the temple platform.
The temple has evening light shows.

The temple is a symbol of the divine past of Lord Krishna and his love for Radha.
The temple is a monument to the vision of Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj.
